First directors are those persons whose names were written as the first directors of the company in the memorandum of association of the company. If the name of the first directors is not specified in the memorandum of a company then according to company law 2013 the individual subscribers of the company will be treated as the first directors of the company till the directors are duly appointed. Here individual subscribers of the memorandum means no body corporate or firm can be a first director even if it is a subscriber of the company. In case of a one-person company the individual who is a member will be deemed as the first director until the director is duly appointed.
