What is Change in Quantity demanded?
Change in quantity demanded means when demand changes due to its own price keeping other factors constant. It is also known as movement along the same demand curve.

1.contraction in demand:-
When quantity demanded of commodity decreases due to increase in price of the commodity it is called contraction of demand.It is also known as upward movement along the same demand curve. For example:-If price of rice increases then its quantity demanded by people will fall. It is known as contraction in demand.

2.Expansion in demand:-
when quantity demanded increases due to an decrease in price of a commodity it is called expansion in demand. It is also known as the downward movement along the same demand curve. For example:- If price of rice decreases then its quantity demanded will increase this is known as expansion in demand.

What is change in Demand?
When demand changes due to any factor other then its own price it is called change in demand. It is also known as shift of demand curve. There are 2 types of change in demand these are:-

1.Increase in demand:- 
When demand increases due to and favourable change in any factor other then its own price it is known as Increase in demand. It is also known as right word shift of demand curve.

2.Decrease in demand:- 
When demand decreases due to unfavourable changes in any factor other then its own price it is known as decrease in demand or leftward shift of demand curve.
